Fuel Cells in NC

Fuel cell technology has an emerging presence in North Carolina. The state is home to major component manufacturers like global membrane-market leader DuPont Fuel Cells, research companies, academic research programs, several military demonstration projects, and other service providers to the industry. Fuel cell manufacturing involves companies in many industries, including polymers, ceramics, metals, carbon, and others. North Carolina currently has no incentives or other support programs targeted at the fuel cell industry.
